Out of the blue, suddenly got LH and RH warning messages appear on my E250 cab. Got it booked into dealer for diagnostic check on Friday, but just wondered if this was a common problem?
Internet search suggests my only real option is the one I have chosen.
A Colleague has a 6 months newer version of mine, and has a recall letter. I have had no letter, so will mention this to Dealer when I drop the car off.
Ok, fault diagnosed as two wires (one in the SRS system) rubbing together beneath where the passenger seat would be, and eventually earthing, hence the SRS warning!!
Anyone ever had something similar?
Would expect better build quality than that from Mercedez.
