I had the white "service brake, visit workshop" light come up. Brake pad wear sensors were cut by disc lippage and hence couldn't be replaced so I soldered them to register unworn pads. I cleared the code in iCarsoft MBII but upon driving it came back.
Delving deeper, I notice my SBC system has reached service threshold. I can't find the number of uses though.
There is no reduction in brake force, the car is under 90k miles, it's the white message so I'd want to get it reset rather than replaced.
Can anyone recommend an SBC reset service around beds/herts/cambs?

You'll need somewhere with STAR to sort that out. I think the SBC unit can be reset at about 500000 actuations but again needs STAR and is car dependent.
Wayne Gates in Harrow tends to be well thought of.

in star you have to go into the German sub-menu
the english part of it is just a copy and will get overwritten
MBS in Southampton did mine.

Thanks all. I've found a specialist not far from home who can do it. He has warned me that a reset is only advisable on certain years/standards of SBC pump so cannot be certain until he has the car in his workshop.
Does that sound right?
If it does need replacing what sort of prices are people seeing for a refurbed Bosche unit inc fitting?
