So, looking at an R230 SL, probably a 350 - lot of choice. 2006+ seem to be the best electrics etc, good choice available. Steep road tax etc
Is it worth a bit extra for a 2009 SL (single compound headlamps not twin rounds) While it looks better than the 2012 rework, it is slightly cheaper to run, and might it be a better bet in case HMG raise road tax further and the older ones become no one's favourites.
Is there much to choose for performance between the two for day to day purposes (231 bhp cf 272 is a fair drop)?
