C(63) 2010 wind noise

I've just been to look at a 2010 C63 PPP+LSD (gotta luv TLAs ).

Much as I expected - brutal performance, sharp handling, hooligan exhaust when making progress & modest otherwise, slight whiff of the taxi about the interior.
But there was noticeable wind noise from the A pillars (I think). This when at private-road-necessitating speed.

Is this a "feature" of this vintage of C-class?
Or have I become spoiled by relative CLS refinement?

With the windows open? I find this on my FL c63 anything over 30mph it seems, which I find annoying as like to always have windows down in summer to hear the v8 roar! Subaru before it was almost no different with windows up or down until up to high speeds.

No, windows shut.

Internet searching has a few hits in the issue. One chap on mbclub found a trim piece 'twixt A-pillar and windscreen was very slightly askew. Others have had window and door seal issues. Not very many but enough to make me risk that it's fixable. Awaiting a call back from the seller!
