mmm well, my kind of mate has one in black (hes 18 - glup)an it's right hand drive.. Well he aint really my mate but anyway my friend X says when she goes in it she sits same place as where she sits in my car, and says that its rhd.... I have also seen it a few times and i am pretty sure aswell, even though me an him don't get on well cause of X. i aint been in it i am afraid but i am pretty sure!

McLaren have not built a RHD SLR. They don't have the parts to produce one.

According to McLaren managing director Antony Sheriff, making a right-hand drive car would require a costly engine reconfiguration. He adds that the SLR is limited to a total of 3,500 units, all to be built at the company's production facility at Woking in Surrey at a rate of 500 per year. There is already a two-year waiting list - three years in some markets - but there are no plans to continue production beyond the next seven years.
