Some poor chap span his new AMG GT-R in front of us today. A25 outside Gomshall, Surrey and he seemed to launch it on the bumpy (wet) left-hand bend before the village. Went through a full pirouette, crossed the carriageway and ripped the f/n/s, including the wheel, clean off on some trees, just at the spot some biker died back in the autumn.
The driver got out and seemed OK. My morning was better than his by about £140K...

Pity you didn't have some score cards to hold up as it sounds like it deserved a 5.9 smile

Not good news. I hope he had the traction control system on full.

I’m not sure that it makes a difference now?

Unless the policy says that you can’t switch it off it makes zero difference. Insurance is generally to cover you in the event of gross stupidity.

Yes it was the insurance I was thinking of really. The thought just occurred to me that an insurance company might investigate all aspects of the case before paying out. Hopefully they will be refunded.
