Race Chip Box MB E350
Discussion
I fitted one to my 320D, good improvement, also like the throttle sensitivity option, that works OK too. I went for it rather than a remap as you can control it all via an app or a dial (throttle) in the car. Had maps before and dealers kept blowing them away at every service which is a bit of a pain.

What are the claims?
The Claims are: for the Basic Race Chip Box +45 hp +87 Nm torque and 15 % improvement in fuel consumption, all for £139. Yes sounds too good to be true. One that was tested on a dyno on U tube for a 2.0 Golf was quoted as giving +28 hp but actually achieved +11 hp.
So you can understand why I am sceptical . The attraction of a piggy back box is that it is a plug and play , can be fitted or removed in about 10 mins and does not change the existing ECU map. So removal before a main dealer service is simple. Also the original ECU maintains all the safety parameters.
