I'm looking to get a wing/spoiler for my car and like the look of the one on the C43 AMG. Seen some on ebay and don't like the look of them.
Spoken to Mercedes and was told he won't be able to order it as it's not on the accessories list.

Does anyone know of where I can get hold of one?

If you find out the part number of the spoiler you should be able to order it as a spare part. Better still if you get the reg of a car you know has one and ask the parts desk for a replacement part.

Would that not cause any problems of me providing the reg of a car that is not mine. Only asking cause my local mercedes dealer is a pain in the arse and probably rated as the worse of them all (Speaking from personal experience and really bad reviews).

I'm aware of that. Just seeing what the cost is and whether or not I'll have to suck it up and get one off ebay.

No, if they get funny just give them some flannel about buying it for your mate as you damaged it.

Or ring up another dealer if your local one is crap. Just ensure you're sitting down when they give you the price.

I'll give it ago on Tuesday when the businesses are back up and running.

I always ensure I'm sitting down when calling the dealer laugh I'm expecting it to be between the range of £150 to £300, anything over £200 is where I'll suck it up and buy one from ebay or not one at all.

I've also contacted a body shop that repaired my old car and see if they could be any help, they're a mercedes approved repairer and should get decent rates.

Part number I think is A2057900588 but it comes painted and you need a further ES2 code to determine the colour. The price looks like it will be of the order of £500.

Really?! £500 for a bit of plastic. The rear bumper on my Golf was less than that!

Sounds fairly reasonable to me. I was quoted £450 just for the set of clips to reinstall the bodykit onto my car. Then again, a complete set of metal pins and circlips to hang the doors was less than a tenner confused
