I am wondering if anyone has had any problems with the new Mercedes C63 Coupe.
I purchased mine in Sept 17 and have had 2 problems and I have only covered 1500 mile
Firstly it wouldn't start due to a problem with a switch connection between the gear box and engine I was told , it was in the garage for the day.
The second problem, it started but would go into gear and all the faults on the screen were saying everything was defective from suspension through to tyre pressures .
The car was in the garage for 12 days, a defective electronic module in the steering Colum has been blamed and the part was delivered from Germany.

First one would be the crank-enable hardwired sensor. It is basically a hand-shake between the transmission control module (TCM) and the Engine Control Module (ECM or sometimes PCM) - this is the transmission saying it's safe to start the engine. This is a hard-wired signal vs CAN, again for safety reasons. Sensors break.

The 2nd one is a module going down - each module on CAN talks to each other and if they can't handshake with a particular one they have a bit of a fit...

Nothing major tbh.

I've had mine since early November and have covered around 1500 miles. Has been absolutely fine thus far. A few rattles around the sun roof but perfect otherwise. Sorry to hear yours hasn't been great.

Had mine since march 16

Had a few issues with the electronic diff being inactive.
Passengers seat has a crack from factory which I'm still trying to get sorted.
And had a few paint issues which were sorted promptly.

Get the odd rattle but I put that down to having loose items laying around in the glove box 😔

I do find Mercedes treatment isn't the best. They don't seem to keen to sort issues. Every where I go they seem to rack up 20+ miles testing the car as well.

I have also been without brake pads for months due to a nationwide shortage which seemed a little weak on Mercedes part.
