1989 450SL - how much is it worth?

Posting on behalf of someone else, does anyone have an idea of how much the following car would be worth?

1989 Mercedes-Benz 450SL V8, fMsh, excellent condition, 40k miles.

That's all the info I have! Any advice is greatly appreciated. I reckon between £10k-£12k.

worth phoning chelsea cars on armoury way wandsworth, they sell a lot of those.

They didn't build 450's in 1989. At that time they were building 300/420/500 from memory. The last 450's would have been in roughly 1981/2.

Also made 560s (for the US market only). A 450 would be worth £7-8000 unless it had exceptionally low miles and was in time warp condition.

If its a '89 car it will be a 420SL.
