Got a phone call from one of our customers who AMG failed to start, told him to ring the AA and get it recovered to me
Got a phone call from the AA man telling me it’s a faulty cam shaft sensor not switching the fuel system on, told him even with it disconnected it will still start, then he got all tech and asked about omns resistance and things, again told him again just recover it and I’ll put a scanner code reader on it and find the problem. Reply was I don’t need a code reader it’s the cam sensor I’ll ring the dealer they will help me. Hour latter it arrived at the workshop, having connecting the cam sensor back up, read the codes Crankshaft Sensor open circuit, replaced it.
up it fired but only on 7cylinders
New fault code No 1 injector fault / damaging CAT
After some head scratching he had only forgot to push the multi block fully home on No 1 injector, pushed it fully home back on 8 cylinders again total successes
