Does anyone have any info on this rumour?

I have read on the web it would be a compact 7 seater (5+2) with "baby" G Wagen looks.

Is this true??! This sounds excellent and a GLB43 AMG could be my first new car!

thoughts? like the look of it although looks bigger than between a gla and glc as they say? need to upgrade the missus golf to something a little bigger so may be a winner

FWD focused + boxy SUV, not sure if the potential AMG versions make a lot of sense, but tastes differ..

I’ve shortlisted (a lesser engined one) as next 7 seater family car. It’s comparable in size to the GLC, but more boxy so more interior space. Really like the interior design and amount of space. The playful(?) design of the exterior is ok. Has more appeal to me than the VAG options imho and no appealing + comparable BMW option either.

Here’s a very German (thus extensive) first look by Autogefühl: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SbubILiPWPI

They are in the showrooms now; demonstrators likely to be available from 1st March.

They look good - well made, versatile and funky. It’s on my wife’s shortlist.

7-seats and 4wd necessary for us, so potentially quite pricy.

will be interested to see its size - dont need 7 seats though wish they did a shorter version. or will that be the gla? basically want something between the gla and glc but not as long as the glb!
