What year E class have you got?

I have a 1988 230TE (W124) with blue cloth interior with rear seats in great condition I could sell to you?

Where are you based?

Alternatively, try contacting a Mercedes breaker, plenty spare seats going round.

Gary, the best thing to do is to go into a dealers and ask them to take a look at their electronic parts catalogue (EPC). That will give you the part numbers you need, and also cost if they're feeling nice.

If you'd like to mail me, I know a good site where at least one of the guys has an EPC CD of his own (you can buy them from German EBay).

Be prepared - this isn't going to be cheap!

BTW, the previous posters offer of seats from a W124 isn't going to work (I don't think, unless the part numbers from your car that you need start A124 xxx xxxx)

Hope this helps you.

Cheers,
Greg

Ok, I am 99% sure my seats won't fit being it 2 previous models from yours!

As the previous poster suggests try asking Mercedes for the part number and then checking out breakers perhaps? I wouldn't be surprised if Mercedes want in excess of £1k for the seats +fitting.

Alternatively you can do what I did, instead of buying a bike rack I bought the Mercedes!

I looked into this last year - the parts alone came in at over £2,200 +vat from a dealer. Then there was allegedly 14hrs labour to fit them. Which is a bit shocking compared to Volvo whose dealers will fit the third row seats for about £600 all in.
Needless to say I bought a car with them already fitted.
