Hi all!

Anyone know anywhere in the London/ South East area that can retrospectively fit a SatNav system in a C-Class C-240 Avant Garde(2003 reg)?

I'm not interested in ther "portable" variety (TomTom, NavMan etc), just the integral Mercedes-fitted variety...

Thanks!

Get a quote for just the parts and you may be horrified (Someone looked at doing it on a porsche and the bill was running at £4k plus labour). Have you considered a DIN sized CD/radio headunit with built in satnav? I think you can get them for about £700.

I was advised that the MB Command sat nav cannot be retro fitted. Factory fit option only - the two dealers I spoke with independently could not offer an explanation why.

You may have better luck.

I seem to remember reading it's very possible but -as said - frighteningly expensive.

Check www.mbenznl.com/ and contact Steve, s_krabbenborg@hotmail.com, who is the master with Comand retrofits. Shouldn't cost more than 1500-2000 euro max.
