CLS63 exhaust help

I am looking to create a bit more volume in the cabin of my CLS63 5.5TT. I love how the car sounds on the outside but due to the nature of this beast its quite muted inside.
Options I have come across on various forums are resonator delete and cat delete. It would seem the reso delete is the easiest option as it doesn't throw on any lights etc so I am defiantly going this route and as I understand a straight pipe will be fine (no need for X).
I am also wondering what the result would be if I deleted the secondary cats, both on how it would sound as well as any error codes / power loss. I did read that there is only sensors on primary cats so secondary deletion is OK.
Thoughts and experiences please.

I had the resonator removed on mine and replaced with a straight balance pipe. I actually requested an "X Pipe" but was told that the "H Pipe" is better for the Bi-Turbo engined cars by the guys who did it. (Torqueflow in Birmingham, based within MSL Performance) This has since been confirmed by Weistec engineering who are experts on these cars.
It made quite a bit of difference to the sound, giving it a deeper growl on low revs and was a lot more pronounced when you put your foot down. It also improved performance which was verified on their rolling road at the time. As for the cat removal, the Bi-Turbo only has one set of cats on it which are on the intermediate pipes immediately after the downpipes, so cat removal/deletion will inevitably cause CEL problems as the sensors will pick up on it.
Ask me how I know. To get around this problem, I've since had the ECU remapped by Weistec which, as they designed the pipework, seemed a logical thing to do.
There are a few alternatives to the way I went, Eurocharged are an agent for Rado, who do a front/intermediate pipe with sport cats on it, or they can fit one without any though you'll get the same problem. My issue was that the original downpipes from the turbo back have so many bends and restrictions on them that it seemed it was strangling the engine. The turbo noise i really noticeable now, and a lovely sound.

My dad has a CL63 BiTurbo & he had a Resonator delete H Pipe put in this gave a much deeper note & more noise in the car plus better pick up he has since had it re mapped K&N Filters Evans Waterless coolant upgrade basically all this added upto nigh 700bhp which is why the Granturismo will be getting sold shortly & CL63 will be taking it's place.

The issue I have with the car is that at civilised speeds you just can't hear that V8 sound enough and using any more that 1/4 throttle results in too much speed. Is there a difference at low revs? say idle to 2.5/3k rpm max.

No drone just a deeper note when accelerating at part throttle/motorway speeds you just get a nice burble in the background until you start pushing on the throttle pedal
You will get some extra noise, though not necessarily droning, with the Weistec front pipe conversion. Noticeable around 2 - 2,500 revs which is a normal cruising speed.
It's not a booming thing, to me it's not bad at all, and it can be overridden quite easily by either more or less acceleration. It's worth it to me for the low speed growl and the howl at the higher end of the rev range.
