CL 500 advise please

I am thinking of trading in my maserati 3200 for a cl 500. Now I am not trying to compare the 2, its just time for a change and I need to know the running costs. Obviously I am no stranger to high running costs, but I beleive the merc will save me a fair bit in service and fuel costs. It may sound daft but at 15mpg and £1600 for my last service it may work out cheper in the CL.

Assuming a CL500 running costs are similar to an SL500, then my experience is as follows.
My SL has done 38,000 miles in 15 months. During that time it has:
Averaged almost 25mpg (lots of motorway driving).
Used no oil between services.
Needed a service every 13,000 miles (just an oil change at 13,000, major service at 26,000 and oil change due shortly).
Needed disk pads all round at 35,000 miles.
Needed new rear tyres every 18,000 miles and new fronts at 36,000 miles.
Fabulous car to drive, but lots of minor faults due to M-B build quality being less than you would expect in a £70,000 car. Overall 8 out of 10.
