Command System

I own a 2000 E55 with command. The disc it has only covers the UK-does anyone know where to get one that will be compatible with my system and also covers Europe without going to the main dealer and paying their inflated prices? I've checked ebay etc with no luck.
On the same subject does anyone know if it's possible to get the TV working and the Phone? It has the buttons etc for it but i don't think the software has been loaded onto it.

Your Mercedes dealer will order the Sat Nav disc direct from Teleatlas (0208 2303142) who will deal with Joe Public, tell them what you want and tell them you have a Mercedes Command Travelpilot DX system, and cut out the middleman.

As for your Phone / TV it all depends if the vehicle has been pre-wired.

In the case of the TV tuner, have a look in your datacard (blue and white printout in the back of your service book)if it has sales code 860 then your TV should work. If it doesn't, then you will be looking at £999.66 + VAT just for the TV tuner, and that's without all the wiring and fitting I'm afraid.

Yeh, I was asking about getting my TV up and running. Like you say, it's not a simple Tuner plug in, they have to take most of the interior apart to fit it.....Very Bad Design......I was told I would be looking at approx £3500 all in......It won't take a million guesses to the fact that I won't be getting this done...
