280 SL tonneau

An older friend of the family owns a cherished 80's Mercedes 28SL convertible but finds it difficult to keep raising and lowering the hood in the summer. Does anyone know of a manufacturer that supplies a tonneau cover for this car as it would solve this problem during the summer months. Suggestions gratefully received.
