I have just had the pleasure of having a new CLS 63 on loan for a day. What a machine, stunning to look at, amazing to be in and the performance!!
Did about 200 miles of mixed driving. Even in the wet it was surprising how well it got its power down. Didn't really have too many dry spells, but when I did I finally worked out the launch control and again, wow. Unbelievable how brutal the acceleration is. Oh yeah, and the sound, every time you start it, are sitting still in it, burbling along at 30 or you've got your right foot buried in the carpet, your face starts to hurt again from the constant grin on your face.
You couldn't ask for a more complete car. Fuel consumption not rally too bad, averaged about 14.
Roll on 1st September when my c63 is collected.
