W211 E320 CDI (v6 version) 2005 on..
Discussion
Hi peeps...
I really fancy a 320 CDI E Class, the v6 model from about 2005 onwards. Seems they can clock up star ship mileages..I remember being totally wasted by one when i had my old A3 TDI 130 and being most impressed as it took a fairly swift car to blow that car away from 50 MPH to 80 MPH
What are they like to earn? Are these models likely to burn a big hole in your pocket with some really major bills? What MPG for a typical commute consisting of 13 miles, (1 mile out of town, then 12 miles along dual carriageways)?

Engines are pretty solid, no significant problems. The early 7 speed auto boxes were a bit iffy, but any problems should have been fixed under warranty. The 5 speed auto were rock solid.
Consumption depends on traffic. All stop/start, 27mpg, free flowing, 41mpg, average 33/34mpg seems usual.
