Power steering fluid

Hi,

The search on these forums is really poor I am finding !

Can anyone advise me on the type of fluid I should be using to top up the power steering reservoir in my 2003 S350 (W220) please ?

Most PAS fluids will do the job,But? With PAS & Auto fluids I went to the Mercedes Dealer payed through the nose and got the genuine stuff in Merc` bottles recommended for my Merc`.A lot of people will laugh at the price of the oil but its a one off purchase and you will be confident its the correct type.

This is indeed a valid point, I got acquainted with my local independant MB garage and they topped it up for free and what a quality set up it appears to be. MB Tech in Warrington.

For anyone finding this in a search (haha) the fluid from a dealer is part no A001 989 2403, only compatible fluid approved is Pentosin CHF11S which is available on ebay and much cheaper of course.
