W211 aftermarket chrome window trim
Discussion
I picked up a 2009 E220 W211 at the weekend. It’s a lovely car in excellent condition.
It’s all black, in and out, which is probably my last choice of colour but it was too good a deal to turn down.
It’s an Executive SE and it is relentless in its blackness! The only break in it is the chrome grill and trim on the boot lid.
To break it up, I was thinking of applying these "stick on" chrome window sill trims, made by Schatz (a German company) and sold in the UK by CSK Performance.

They do look like quality items, but I am concerned that they may end up looking like bits of metal stuck on the car...which I suppose is what they are!
Does anyone have any experience of these items?
