Just had a C service done on my E55K by my local Indie in East Kent. Came to £457 inc Vat. That was using genuine parts and Mobil 1. My C service included a brake fluid change. Interestingly the Assyst Service on dash now shows 'D Service in 9000 miles'. The transmission fluid was changed 3 years/15000 miles ago. and when I suggested to do it, I was advised that it would not be necessary for a long while yet.

AFAIK auto transmission fluid is a one-off change at around 3yrs\40k miles, certainly was in my E Class, and the prices I paid were a bit less but they owed me a favour for previous poor service, paid around £320 for my C service & trans fluid change at my local main dealer.

Currently I'm not in the UK else I would ring my local dealer. Does anyone know roughly how much it would cost from a main dealer, if it's not much more might aswell drop it off there.

So those prices weren't main dealer, they sounded like main dealer prices to me!
