Just a quick one, where do these leads plug into??

I've just bought a new C180 Sport Estate, and couldn't connect my iPod or other MP3 player to the car as it said "unreadable." I spoke to Mercedes yesterday who advised me (after speaking to the sales rep) that I needed a three lead pack from Mercedes.

My dad went on a test drive yesterday and bought said pack from the parts department. He told me that he was very un-impressed by the parts department and that they seemed like a bunch of numpties and passed me the leads.

From what I gather it should connect somewhere in the central glove box, but I can't see where and there only appears to be an AUX in and USB.

Now where does it plug into on the car? any ideas?

Is that definitely a USB port? I'd have expected to see a port for the UMI, which said dealer supplied cable should connect to and allow you to link an iPod.

Yes, my iPod was an issue with the Mini so I bought a Creative Zen from Fleabay which worked so I'd of expected similar to say the least!

why get the a three lead pack........ just use the normal charging cable/interface cable you use to connect to your computer.... that has a USB fitting doesn't ???? and then just plug in to USB in cubby you have shown..... will play music and charge.... I can also play music via bluetooth if I'm to lazy to take phone out of my pocket smile

Fails to recognise them both, bluetooth works ok but I want to leave the iPood in the car!
