C63 options...

Hello all, just looking for some advice. Search facility is disabled at the moment so apologies if this has countless threads! Anyway, looking to spec a new build C63. The main advice is wether or not to spec an LSD. i took a C63 coupe for a spin the other day and it was standard spec. Felt the ride on 18" wheels and standard suspension was very similar to my C55 so no plans to change. I do not plan to track the car so is a lsd worth it?
Also in my c55 i have phone pre wire and a sap v2 which is connects to my old nokia. I will upgrade the phone later this year to either android or iphone. Does the bluetooth on the new comand connect to these phones or would it be worth speccing the phone pre wire again?

My C63 is coming on monday and i specced the LSD, not because I plan to track the car (although I will) but because I felt the back end was so lively that it needed it.... I thought the tel pre wire was just the cradle for in-car charging and better reception, they both should connect via BT seamlessly without this anyway, all depends, i've ordered it so I can tuck the phone away and keep it charged

Really good, done 500miles this week, thoughts are
engine is superb, really really amazing actually, just pulls and is effortless in any gear
gearbox is very smooth but a bit slow on pulling off
handling, heavy car but decent enough, haven't pushed it too hard but there is lots of grip
comfort is very good, very quiet and refined, makes the car mega easy to live with
Climate Control is crap though, the auto function blows your head off and it's hard to find an equilibrium, can't understand why you can't set this up through the main menus for personal preference

All in all i'm very happy, especially at the price I got it at, right bargin!

I have had my c63 for 6 weeks. I specced Std wheels and suspension the ride is really quite good.

I specced only lsd and dab. If you are happy powersliding on the road then you want the lsd. If you won't ever switch off the TC then you won't miss it and you can save your £1850.

Thanks for the replies and glad you are enjopying your car Taffy! Can't wait for mine...Still waiting for a confirmed build date. Just gone for 18"'s with option 2 alloys. Rest of upgrades are sound, cd, DAB, electric blind etc. Prob not going for LSD at the moment.

You can always add an lsd from quaife down the line if you feel the need to drift!
