SBC pump replacement
Discussion
Hi all, my SBC pump is starting to go... It's making a growling/rattling sound as it pressurises.
I've had a quote from Merc to replace at £1700.
Are there any garages on the south coast that can do this work for less, or am I going to have to suck this one up? My trusted Indy unfortunately doesn't have the kit to replace the SBC unit.
Car is a '54 SL500.
Thanks for your help!
