Well she got her i-Pod for Christmas and is pleased with it so far BUT when she is out walking it has a habit of jumping between tracks or "fast forwarding". Left in a stationary position it is ok and if I pick it up and wobble it it is ok too. Just when she is carrying it.
Been Googling the prob and it is not unheard of but any ideas to resolve it.
Cheers

I had this problem with my ipod touch. It drove me crazy trying to work out why it appeared to shuffle randomly when I put it in my pocket.

In the end I worked out that it was because I was putting it in the same pocket as my blackberry and this was activating the shake-to-shuffle feature. I'm not sure if it was the bluetooth on my phone or some other wierd signal. Anyway, I just switched off the shake-to-shuffle feature in the ipod and it never happened again.

Can't tell you for sure if this is whats happening but it's worth a try!

My new 120gb Ipod was skipping to the next track every 10 or so tracks as soon as I bought it last September. Only a new one cured it.

Sounds like the shake to shuffle feature. You can turn it off in options.
