Bit of a nightmare!

I'm moving and wrote to them 3 weeks ago askign them to conifirm my cancellation. I hadn't heard anything tso tried ringing 2 numebrs todayfor cancellations - one at 10p per min and the other at a shocking 50p per minute. I gave up on the latter after 5 mins of queing and the 10p per min one after 38 mins.

Has anyone cancelled with Tiscali and got a normal number or any suggestions please :-)

They are a nightmare! I ended up sending a letter recorded delivery and cancelling my DD. They didn't chase me for the £14.99 they wanted.

Good luck!

Hey - thanks! I'm tempted to cnacel my Direct Debit, but then I can see a fiasco developing where they try to chase me up for more money and hit my credit record... this could be my last resort though ;-)

On Friday last week, Opal Telecom (Carphone Warehouse) acquired ALL assets of Tiscali Internet. The customer services team were always crap, but I think they have also put people at risk/redundancy's.

You may be better calling the CPW main office number on http://www.opal.co.uk/home/cust_service.php

I had no problem doing it earlier this month.
Found a number on the website and was done and dusted within 5-10 mins.
I can have a search through web history and my phone for the number/where I found it if you like?
