Where best to go for free photos and clipart?

I am currently producing a series of PowerPoint presentations on one of the driest subjects known to man. So incredibly mind blowingly boring that it beyond comprehension.

I need to liven it up!

Can anyone recommend any good websites that I can download FREE photos and clipart from to incorporate? Can animations be included in PowerPoint? ( I don't use it that often).

I've been doing the same job for 12 years (okay so it was on Persuasion & Freelance back then), but once of the best resources for clip-art is - http://dgl.microsoft.com - Microsoft's own design library

If you want some excellent quality photo's though I would recommend regestering with http://creative.gettyimages.com/photodisc/ as you can get the comping images for free which are good enough quality for PowerPoint presentations.

It's probably no use to you on this occasion, but I frequently need to source corporate logos and have found this site to be very useful:

As with all images, though, it's often wise to check for copyright issues before you employ them in anything commercial or publish on the Internet. For your own private or in-house use it's not usually a problem.
