I have an HP Business Inkjet 2250 for printing photos. It's a fab printer, except for the fact that I can usually only get a couple of pages of best-quality photo printing out of it before it starts to over-ink, making the prints very dark. Switching everything off, including the PC, resets everything and it all works fine again - until a couple of pages later, when you have to reset everything all over again.

So, two questions.

1) Is there any way of fixing this problem? I suspect it may have something to do with the amount of memory in the PC - is this possible?

2) I'm considering investing in a standalone dye sub printer for small prints. Can anyone recommend one?

Thanks in advance!

Used to have a Lexmark Dye Sub, great machine but bloody expensive to keep running...
