I'm looking to buy a small fire proof safe to store CDs in, and possible a portable hard disk drive. I've just bought one from B&Q for about £40, but will be taking it back as the instructions state that it isn't suitable for computer media (the temperatures inside would be too hot).

Does anyone know where I coul buy a reasonably priced safe that would do the job?

I got one but we paid over £900 for our, but it is rather large 2 filing cabinets wide and a Forklift truck to lift.

I see if i can dig out the invoice as they do ones from around £60.

If its small stuff? People like HCS Global, Action/Insight, Dabs (maybe) probably sell them. I have no idea of price as we have had ours for years and we kept it when we moved premises. Its also a four man lift

Dabs and action/insight are online don't think global is? Might want to try www.wstore.co.uk also. I can't even remember what make ours is. These should all do stuff that is computer media suitable but there are probably cheaper places
