Fed up with having to keep checking the what's new page on PH?

Try this neat little tool I found. Set it to auto-refresh a browser window at any interval you like from 1 minute upwards. Worked for me (XP/IE6).

Manek, If a significant number of people do that it will hit me in the pocket. I get charged for every byte that is transfered. The concept of automatic refreshes don't fill me with joy.

The practice of posting entire threads as quotes must make you wince then Ted!

Its considered bad manners really, and its especially annoying when someone quotes a couple of pagefulls followed by a smiley! People should learn to quote the relevant sections if they have to quote at all - and its generally only necesary if you are responding to a posting other than the current one.

I now see why you removed sigs!

Sorry - bit tetchy this morning (afternoon)!

Quoting etc, is just the way things are. I'm in the business of providing forums and so I can't complain about people using them too much

The idea of auto-refreshes when there's no one sitting at the PC didn't appeal though

Well, I forgot to include the URL anyway, so no harm done!
