Anyone done this before?

I'm trying to connect some remote workers to the company network using IPSec (its built into the router).

I've had a play around but not had much luck yet.

Any ideas?

You could look at FreeSwan, too. It's not native OS/X, but should run fine. It's an Open Source IPSec implementation. Note that you can't run IPSec with header encryption through a NAT gateway...

IPSEC can be NATed just fine if your NAT gateway does IPSEC passthrough. Many firewalls these days, and some broadband routers (like Linksys ones), can do this just fine. (Although you may need to twiddle with Phase 1 IDs and the like...)

The point about the link I posted is that there's a nice native OS X GUI front end to it all - not something I've seen for FreeS/WAN, although I could be wrong.
