Has anyone ever used webtrends for web site analysis
and is it any good if not what do you use ?

i have been looking at various products but don't know which to use

Not used it - I'm a web-numpty really, but, the TVRCC uses a similar thing which gives loads of details.

Yes, it's a good product but expensive. Try www.123loganalyzer.com . It's only about £100 and provides much of the info that webtrends does. It's also very quick analysing large files.

cheers Ted had a look today and does virtually everything webtrends does and quicker

I highly recommend Webalizer.

www.mrunix.net/webalizer/

its fast , free and supports many options.

Allows me to rotate logs easily and have individual reports for all my domains.
