Just wondered, we are running exchange 2k, win 2k and active directory.
I'm keen to upgrade to get the antispam stuff (and cos I'm a nerd).
Has anyone done this yet? How straightforward was it?

Cheers

Ah but I don't want to do a fresh install cos I cannot be arsed.

I'm hopeing that I can get away with backing the old one up, updating it and everything running.

How straightforward was the fresh install?

David,

The upgrade is straightforward, as it's virtually a . release of the product. Just remember to take the usual precautions as with any product that makes schema changes.

If you are just upgrading to 2003 for anti spam, you may want to try GFI's mail essentials instead...

www.gfi.com

I have been running that for months and it stops about 95% of the stuff...

As an update to this last - please check out GFI's new freeware product for anti spam - it has some good stuff...

PS: I am not in any way associated with them other than being a satisfied customer, blah, blah, blah...

I have installed the GFI stuff and it seems to be working a treat.
