LG Oled TV Fault
Discussion
It looks like my mum's TV has developed a fault. It's a LG OLED48A16LA. When turning the TV on there is quite often what looks like a long barcode along the bottom of the screen.
Turning it off and on again returns the picture to normal, but sometimes it needs a switch off at the socket. It's coming up to 5 years old next month so I'm telling her to make a claim ASAP.
Problem is it only happens intermittently, but several times a week. You just know that if she makes a claim on the guarantee they'll turn it on and it will appear fine, as it sometimes does, so they'll say there's nothing wrong, hence why I've taken a picture when I've been there to witness it.
Anybody else had a similar fault with their LG Oled and had success claiming repair/replacement?

We had our's repaired last year...and it was something similar, but our's had a strip of code appearing / moving randomly across the bottom.
It was bought from John Lewis so they just organised a local branch of their repairer to visit.
They initially just asked for photos / description of the fault, diagnosed it from that, and then said they'd order some parts to save us being without the TV for weeks on end.
Once the parts were in he came and took the TV away, and the plan was to return it the next day. Unfortunately more parts were needed so it still ended up being away for about a week.
