From memory, can anyone tell me if things like Firesticks are discounted on these days? I've got a smidgen of birthday money left over that I need to get rid of.

I’m pretty certain Firesticks will be discounted during Prime as they regularly drop them throughout the year.

Yes, usually. The Amazon peripherals are about the only thing that is worth waiting for Prime 'Day' for.

Aye. I've got a monitor in my basket that is £75 every few weeks, then £99 evey few weeks. They've just raised it to £119, then "reduced it" to £99 for Prime Day :-)

They have some good deals on Le Cruset. 28”cm non stick pan for £75 vs normal price of £120-£150.

I bought a new car last week, and am having to wait until prime day for a new Auto Alexa. The novelty of actual radio has worn off, but there's no point paying twice the price when prime day starts tomorrow.

Camel, Camel, Camel is your friend for alerts.

Just drop the hyperlink for the Amazon product you're after, and it'll email you as soon as the price drops.

Usually they best deals are on thier own stuff, so Echo's, Kindles, etc. I bought my current kindle on last years prime day, and could do with another Echo this year.
As above camelcamelcamel is very useful, it's not unknown for the prices of things to go up for a bit before they offer them on a discount so not as much saving as they claim. You can also set alerts to e-mail you when the price drops below a threshold.

Yes, there are reliably great deals on Echo, Kindle, Blink, Ring and Fire devices on Prime Days.

Occasionally, you'll see some random deal on something good too - best bet is to figure out what you actually are interested in buying and set an target value alert on CamelCamelCamel. Jump in on the days and follow the price tracker.

Prime Day is at its best for non-tech, non-sexy 'essentials'. There's usually always some good bulk deals on Toilet Paper, Dishwasher Tablets, Washing Detergent pods etc. I usually stock up on 6-12 months supply of stuff like that on Prime/Black Friday.

Be careful if you're tempted by the '£200 off' on the 3-piece EERO 6E kit...as the new 3-piece Eero 7 kit is the same price (£349).

Essentially, fire sticks are currently £39.99 but I’d like to pay less of course! (I’m A Yorkshireman with Scottish heritage).

If they drop below that then I’ll have one. It’s just to rejuvenate a 55” Samsung monitor I confiscated from work.

Bought this charging station - there's a coupon for 30% off the £27.99 price so paid £19.59 - seems a bargain to me. 285w / 3 USB-A / 3 USB-C (inc 2x100w ports)

That's a damn good price.

They are a nice bit of kit, however I have a set of these and also a set of the Gen1 buds and TBH I prefer the Gen1 over the Gen2 despite the fact that they are bulkier and there's no Qi charging option for the case. They seem a bit lacking in bass. But for that price they are very solid.

Been watching this for a while and it is one of a number of items I might pick up if decently reduced, however ....

Wonder what price it will be come midnight ....
