The company I work for has employees that;
Cover large distances. Sometimes 3-5miles per day
Lifting and carrying furniture and boxes.
Working in tight environments (mainly homes)
They do a lot of stair work.
Today we've been researching the Hyoershell. Watching reviews and use etc etc.
We can't see a downside.
Any thoughts from the PH massive?

Thoughts would be:
* How much of it is vapourware, and how long do you trust the company to operate/provide spares? Not a problem if it's a cheap throwaway thing but...
* How robust/safe is the engineering? If it went wrong how much damage could it do to the operator? I've seen all sorts of very carefully engineered things go wrong in ways the safety case suggested shouldn't be able to happen.
* How good/useful would it be in real life? Reading the website spec it quotes (for example) a latency of 30ms which is pretty noticably laggy in most cases when you're doing something and have direct feedback.

I've got mobility problems; back mainly but my knees are giving up on the idea of bending. I will have to consider something similar in the short/medium term.
The website shows people less than half my age. Where are the old buggers? People like me, one step, one agonising step, from decrepitude?
I chatted to a professional videographer at the Good Festival of Speed. He had a support around his body, taking in his back, for the video camera and gimbal. He said it worked after a fashion, but that the bosses just piled more stuff onto the harness. He was exhausted at around 11.30 am.
I use a backpack with a strong waist belt and strap camera straps to the shoulder straps. It puts the weight on my hips. But the damn thing adds weight as it need to be strong to keep the shoulder straps from putting too much pressure on the top of my body.
Anyone use something different? Something a bloke in his dotage can use?
