Apple Powerbeats Pro 2 - worth it?

Are the new Powerbeats pro 2 worth the upgrade from the Geb 1 model which i currently use for running?

I've read the reviews from magazines etc eulogizing them, but on reddit people slam the quality of the sound.

what's the verdict here?

I picked up a set to replace original Powerbeats Pro.

If your originals are still working, I wouldn't rush to upgrade unless you find them for a good price.

The smaller case is much nicer, fit is different (neither better or worse) sound quality is nothing outstanding, noise cancelling is nice. Hopefully, no issues with charging on these compared to the original. USB-C is delightful.
