Is it possible to plug into the TV via HDMI?

Alternatively, get a smaller, cheap Samsung tablet, and plug into the TV via HDMI. The tablet can be used to control the TV

you can get gen 10 ipads (64gb is perfect for media) from around £220 on ebay, table mounts on amazon and you can sell it when done
