Buying a mini pc from Amazon US
Discussion
I'm looking to buy a decent spec mini PC and the one i am looking at is £499 from amazon uk or £299 (inc fees and import charges) from amazon US.
The seller is Amazon & its being offered via their global store. On the face of it, a no brainer, but has anyone bought this way before? Any issues?

I would think about warranty and consumer protection.
A few years back, I bought a mini pc off Amazon. After about three months the display just packed in - was black no matter what I tried. It was outside the return window, so I had to engage with customer support. Who, to their credit, accepted a return and refund after I emphasised their liability under the quality provisions of the CRA.
Not sure how that would pan out if you had to deal with Amazon in the US.

If you're going to import it anyway, would it be even cheaper from Asia?
Was thinking along these line - YMMV:
