We're going to florida in a couple of weeks and will be moving around more this time with less wifi network availability.

We all have iPhones, one with Sky and the other 2 with o2 and looking for how to do this in the most cost effective way but also need the service to be reliable. We need to make sure the numbers are available for calls.

all three phones support esim / physical sims (a 14 pro, 13 pro max and a 15 pro max).

I had a very quick search and something called "Saily" popped up and i think it effecively allows you to connect to the US data network and off you pop. Ill have a read of the bumph but wanted to check the PH Hive mind. Might dross this post to the travel section, too.

Ta muchly!

Saily is great, another one is Airalo. Just see which have the best deals at the time.

They only do data though, or 'local' calls if you choose a package with a US number. Your UK numbers will be 'available' for cellular calls, so if you answer, it's going to cost a bomb.

If you have Virgin TV/broadband then your O2 phones will work in the US without any roaming charges, as part of their Volt package.

No VM products sadly.

I probably don’t need this for all three phones. Mostly for my daughter and her social media madness. I can go without mobile data as have WiFi in the villa and most places we go will have WiFi. I will need to take some calls though but might use a number I have attached to teams.

If you have wifi then thare's always Whatsapp.

Possibly also worth consdering a travel router, set up with your home network's SSID and password. That way you'll only have to connect the travel router to the local wifi, and all your devices will automatically connect to that, as if they were at home.
