Meta Quest 2 - Prescription Lenses? (UK)
Discussion
My wife brought me one of these for my birthday a couple of years ago, used it quite a bit at first but as I'm short-sighted I have to either wear my contact lenses or glasses.
I like to take my contacts out as soon as I'm home, and I really don't like wearing my glasses at all.
I've recently discovered that you can buy prescription inserts for the device, but I just cannot find any UK companies that sell them, only US.
Does anyone know where I can order these?

can't help you with the lenses but as an ex-contacts wearer I would as what contacts you are wearing because I never felt the need to take mine out other than at bed time - 1 day accuvue moists. They were not even noticeable - and I often forgot I had them in when going to bed. (I have had LRE surgury hence an ex-wearer)
Looks like there's more options now, but I bought mine for the Quest 3 from these people - https://vrprooptics.com
They've been great, and I think better vision wise than when I used to manage to squeeze my old (smaller) glasses in or wear contacts.
One thing I didn't think of vs wearing with contacts is that if you ever need to lift your headset to see something and you've bad eyesight, well you can't see the thing outside the headset... keyboard, phone etc. It does make certain situations a pain.

Just to add another one - I bought prescription inserts from VR Rock as they were recommended on a few sites. They arrived pretty quickly (I think in about a week or so), and have been great. As they attach with magnets, they are easy to put in and remove if you're sharing the headset with someone who doesn't need them.
