so we have 4 iPhones on the same account and recently the call log on my phone is showing my wife's missed calls etc - I cannot find a setting to change this or where it can be turned off.

Any suggestions?? other than split the phones off of the one account please

thanks

You have to split the phones off onto separate accounts, you can still link them together to share music etc.

Been in place for a little while now, started when they switched off photostream.

I know that - ut we need to keep them on the one account for a couple of reasons.

But this call log has only just happened

Try this:

2. Turn Off "Calls on Other Devices":
Go to Settings > Phone > Calls on Other Devices and disable it.
This will prevent calls from being forwarded or synced to other devices.

This is pretty much up there with people who share a Facebook account. Get your own Apple accounts and put the phones on those.

Don't you see each others messages, pictures and internet history?

I don't have much to hide but I don't fancy sharing all of that with my wife and kids and I wouldn't want to see theres!

Come on then, what are the reasons?

I'd like to know what reasons you have to "need" them on one account? Four free Apple IDs a shared iCloud or Apple One and family sharing

In the meantime, I think you need to switch off "Phone" or "Phone & Facetime" in the iCloud settings (think the setting name changed recently) so they don't sync.

I am not going into the family reasons why we keep the one account.

So back to the question - the call logs only recently appeared, so I just cannot work out what setting changed

We have one account with multiple phones and people on it. We were finding the same thing.

It was a cloud thing, can’t exactly remember which setting I changed to get rid of it. Don’t get them now.

May have been enabled by a recent software update?

I think I have answered that, you need to stop "Phone" synching with iCloud. Can't see why this might have changed recently but give it a shot, it can't hurt.
