Outlook desktop - people icon next to mailbox

Anyone know why this icon is next to my mailbox? Is it to do with contacts or shared files or something?

It's a generic user icon, presumably because you don't keep any user information associated with that address in Outlook.

Ah okay, just wondering why it's suddenly popped up, not changed any settings recently. Will have a look at it.

If it has just recently appeared it may have been an "improvement to the user experience" in an update from Microsoft.
I'm not sure - I only use Outlook on my phone, which is a cut-down version for obvious reasons. I haven't used Windows or MS Office since I retired.
