USB C SSD recommendation
Discussion
Netac. £35. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Netac-ZSLIM500G/dp/B088BT...
Faster drives are available but this is fine for general use.
Or for slightly more (£39) you can basically have a thumb drive. I’ve got two of these, absolutely brilliant. Slow down a little when they get hot but so much faster than a regular usb drive but with the same portability.

Got a couple of the SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable SSDs and a couple of the SanDisk 1TB Extreme PRO Portable SSDs.
Non Extreme/Pro versions are cheaper, if you don't want or need the speed.
All been faultless, personally I wouldn't trust my data to a no-name SSD.
I use the Pro version too primarily for photos, I can edit straight off the drive with no delay or lag, it’s excellent. Non Extreme/Pro versions are cheaper, if you don't want or need the speed.
