I do not play many games and stuff on phones, mainly word stuff nothing complex/

But the ads make it almost pointless, you do a small job pick say 4 or 5 words, takes 15 seconds then are subjected to 3 separate screens where you say no I dont want this crappy app.

Literally the ads take longer to complete than the game,m and then you are into the process again.

I know you can pay tor remove them, but they are clearly moving towards making that the only point of the app rather than the game itself, so I simply uninstall.

I dont mind some ads, but why on earth do i need to close the stupid thing 3 bloody times, surely once is enough?

If you're on Android you can add a private DNS in your network & Internet settings.
Type in dns.adguard.com and hit save.

No more ads in games.

Pi-hole works a treat for blocking those in game ads.

If it’s a free game, you’re the product… mobile games have been like this for 6+ years, just a vehicle for ads and getting your data

Agreed kris, thanks for app suggestions, might try a few.

I simply dont bother a lot now, used to play loads of phone games, but this ruins the experience utterly

Yep this is what I do, a lot of free wifi networks wont work though until you turn the DNS off.

I've never had an issue with it in malls, trains or restaurants etc, just works like normal.

Lots of games still work if you turn off wifi/data. That way, you don't get any ads.

Or you pay to get rid of the ads.
