I have one main Gmail account all ok, it also checks for emails from another Gmail address again working fine

Does anybody know if you can add a third Gmail address as no matter what I try it does not want to do it.

From a Google search

https://support.google.com/accounts/thread/2680307...

Each Google account can have one Gmail address on it. Google doesn't document a limit on how many Google accounts you can have, but there ARE limits on how many new accounts can be verified with a given mobile number.

As above, it could well be the phone you're linking to the account.

I've multiple Google accounts for different purposes, but they're spread out across 2-3 phone numbers due to that limitation.

Thank you both but I have given up now, now matter what I tried it would not add another Gmail address on top the other two, it should not be this difficult and I just find it so frustrating why something so simple is not.

New gmail account is live and I can log in but it will not add it.

Even tried and signed up to a Yahoo mail address but same issue.

And you cannot contact them for help which is just stupid.

Not a big issue just means I have to run two logins to check the 3 email address which long term is going to be a pain.

Could you setup an auto-forward on the third account?

On my Gmail app on my phone I can sign into multiple gmail accounts. I currently have 3 feeding into the app at the moment.

On my laptop I can have multiple Chrome windows open, each signed into a different gmail account and therefore each looking at a different email/calender/etc

All done by managing multiple logins rather than trying to link emails together.

Any value in using the + and . trick on existing Gmail addresses?

You can make infinite combos of new Gmail addresses.

It won't let you do it as in you can't even begin the process, or it won't accept the account credentials?

Does the third Gmail address use two-factor authentication?

Is this on the mobile app or desktop?

It will not accept the credentials but it will add it on the app but not the desktop

Edit: just set it to forward, all working thanks all
