Google Mail reinstall help svp

The dragon bought a new iPad and the apple shop transferred all the data over to the new one.

Unfortunately the Google mail account didn’t activate , so I put the password in but it didn’t recognise it , this is where I need help you can click on a link for a reactivation code but unfortunately it’s sending the activation code to an old freeserve email address which closed down years ago.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get it installed on her new iPad please ?

Hello, I'd maybe just use the Gmail app as a workaround rather than the Apple Mail client

Indeed, or another device that’s logged in? Changing the recovery email address would be a good starting point.
