Bit of a random one sorry - I know nothing about electrics which will no doubt shortly become obvious. I'm doing a charity tractor run at the weekend and need to bodge some christmas lights onto it somehow.

I've bought these LED striplights:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0856WH2H3?ref=ppx_yo2...

So there's an AC/DC adapter that the lights plug into, and on the other side a wire plugs into with a UK socket on the end.

Just wondering what the best way of powering these lights will be?

Could get something like this from the cigarette lighter?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Converter-Inverter-Chargi...

Or something like this and replace the uk plug wire?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lonnky-Connectors-Univers...

Or I could run a cut extension cable from the battery into the cab and plug it in? Would mean losing the earth I suppose.

Any thoughts please?

Thank you!

Yes you’ll need an inverter, they use bugger all power so the one you linked looks fine.
